Alexandra’s passion for teaching began when she moved to Nicaragua after graduating university in Canada. She has since cultivated a career teaching English and Spanish, translating, interpreting, and copywriting. Alex loves teaching because she gets to interact with people from all over the world, and in the process, help them to achieve their language learning goals. At home in Nicaragua, one of her favorite pastimes is relaxing in a hammock on her porch reading a good novel.

As a Liberian that immigrated to the United States, I've had the opportunity to live in several countries and learn various languages. As a teen and even today, I've loved reading and education. I've been working as an English teacher in a bilingual school for the past 6 years. I want to instill a love for reading and education in every student that crosses my path, so they can pursue their dreams and goals without limitations.

I`m a Mexican born and raised, with over 10 years of teaching in foreign places. I am a teacher of culture. Especially in the area of language. I grew up in Mexico and have had experience all over the world. I enjoy teaching students but also blessing them with the art of knowledge. Language is a part of my culture that makes it very rich and I am so excited to share it with everyone. I make learning fun by using an entertaining dynamic. For example, many people want to learn a language but get easily discouraged. I find that by using fun techniques the learning is much more fun and effective. I create a safe space where everyone is welcome and will be valued. So come learn and come have fun. ¡Aprender es divertido!
